Before: Our Client had a small dark outdated kitchen (thru left archway) that was adjacent to, and adjoining a family room and a dining room. Each of these areas felt very separate and confined.  Entertaining was difficult due to this choppy arrangement, and dining as a family was not convenient.  Our client wanted to update the kitchen, increase storage, create a computer work area, add a new exterior door, redo lighting, redo flooring, and create a comfortable, inviting place to enjoy family and friends.

After: Our Client is thrilled to have gained so much more than a new kitchen. By removing the wall between these two rooms and the wall surrounding the second room, our Client now has a wonderful spacious Great Room in which they can entertain, help the kids with homework, dine with friends and family, access the Internet, and enjoy cooking in an open and light environment.

Before: This dining room was small, dark, and isolated from all other rooms.

After: By removing two walls and adding a sliding glass door and larger windows a large open great room was created with ample light and easy access to the lovely private rear yard. A large island provides comfortable seating for eating or entertaining while also providing additional storage and prep area. Oversized 18 inch ceramic tile laid on the diagonal make this great room flow together beautifully with the adjacent rooms.

	Before: Bad lighting, no built in microwave, outdated cabinets, outdated tile, and inefficient storage.
	After: New recessed lighting,, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, built in wine rack, display shelving, under cabinet lighting and Kraftmaid cabinets in Lindel Cherrywood with a Honey Spice Finish updated this kitchen, while the new ceramic flooring tied in the new kitchen area to the adjacent family room seamlessly.

Before: This small kitchen was a small room all by itself, preparing a meal meant isolating from the rest of the family.
After: This new kitchen provides all the openess that our client desired for cooking, and entertaining. This new kitchen also includes a comfortable desk work area with a lovely view of the spacious yard. No longer isolated from the family room and dining room, the client can access the internet, and help kids with homework while still preparing meals.
